Nothing about the Haynesville Shale play seems to be normal.I recently was talking to a landowner in my area.He told me that two companies were already contacting him about leasing his land. The only catch to this is all leases arround us were done before the play boom. They are for the same terms which don't end till Dec. I didn't really belive him till I started to be contacted. Is this normal that a company would put out money before they know the other company is going to do something brfore the lease terminates and what is the catch if any.Is it possible for a company to create a unit, get  a permit, and drill in this short period of time.
