Well, the president started the ball rolling today with his declaration that the auto makers will face new gas mileage requirements, and it's looking like there will be a rollback of the Bush policies that did not permit states to go beyond Federal mandates on auto pollution, mileage, etc. This has the very good potential of pushing Detroit and the in-country foreign car plants toward CNG as a very low polluting fuel source. While the auto makers might be unhappy about that, this po;
country boy from Union Parish can see where that happening would be very, very good for all of north Louisiana over the long haul. I think a lot more than the Haynesville Shale would be given a long hard look by producers.....the CV shale, the ArkLa strata, and all the others that have not been tapped heavily will be good sources of NG what with the new technologies available. I guess bottom line here is that it might be a good thing to wait and see what the market will bear when it comes lease time. That online seminar (which I interpret as a presentation to attract new capital) might be the best thing since sliced bread for those of us who are still
unleased.
