Anybody hear any production numbers from the Wright 13h-12 1-4 wells? I hear they are STRONG, making a combined total of about 70MMCF and 1500 B/D oil initially. Also hear that Wildhorse is planning to have 10 rigs in the area by years end.

Wildhorse has a number of good wells in that area but they are a private company and not prone to public announcements so they tend to fly under the radar. In the case of the Wright 13H-12 wells, they are alternate wells in LCV RA SUG, Hico Knowles Field. The production reported is the cumulative total for all the 10 producing wells in that unit.
Yee Haw, I have a significant royalty interest in the LCV RA SUG, Hico Knowles Field. Can't wait to sign the division orders on the Wright 13H-12 1-4 wells. Any got a clue when Wildhorse is getting them out?
Don, you might want to hold the Yee Haw until you know the specifics. Although the well names do not include a unit designation the entire extent of the lateral is in unitized sections. The correct well name is Wright 13-12 HC. The "H" stands for horizontal, the "C" stands for Cross Unit. They are referred to as Cross Unit Laterals or CULs in LA. There will be no new division orders as the division orders already exist. One for LCV RA SUG and one for LCV RA SUF. As the well name denotes the lateral lies in both Section 12 (LCV RA SUF) and Section 13 (LCV RA SUG). The linear feet of perforated lateral lying in each section/unit will determine the percentage of production that it is allocated to the mineral interests in each unit.
Skip, do you have any idea about the linear feet in 12 and 13? I'm in roughly half of 13.
Measuring on Sonris, it appears to be about 87% in Section 13.
Don, I don't have any information other than what is available on SONRIS. CULs are fast becoming the norm in LA for horizontal drilling energy companies. They are especially good for Wildhorse as much of their leasehold is highly developed with vertical wells in existing units. They still drill an occasional vertical but that is in decline.
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
