The Barton Well No. 2H is located 6.6 miles south to Martinsville. Devon Energy Production Company L.P. has completed this well to a depth of 12,265 feet in the Carthage Field. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 6,700 feet (?). Production is in Haynesville Shale formation.

This report was found in the Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel (but not in the Tyler Morning Telegraph... go figure):

jffreel1 ---must be typo and ? should be 6,700 mcfd or 6.7 mmcfd would make sense. If I can remember I'll call RRC in Kilgore tomorrow. A marginal well for H shale to give ROI for Devon. Maybe they had it choked back.
The question mark was mine... but that's the way it was put in the paper. I would assume 6.7 MMcfd and Devon never tells choke size so anything you can find out would be appreciated. I do hope it is choked back. However, XTO had the Rudy Mitchell #1H way up in the NW corner of San Augustine that had IP of 5.6 MMcfd on 48/64 choke. Could be apples and oranges without looking at the lateral length and frac stages, though.
