I well remember as a kid in the 1960's seeing farmers and ranchers all over the Great Plains driving pickups with large compressed gas tanks in the beds. So this is nothing new. Also, lots of tractors were equipped to burn compresses gas of some kind. The tanks were built on at the manufacturer. Probably every farmer was his own fuel station down on the farm.
