The McKinney well is completed and flowing into the pipeline. I drove to San Augustine yesterday to get copys at the county clerks office to get copy of the filing and to see the pooling records it's 900+ ac plus in the pool,dont know how long it's been flowing but it's flowing in the pipeline ,The valve is open and you can hear it flowing.

The completion report for the McKinney well (405-30368) says the well was completed on 12/11/2010. The IP test was on 12/15/2010. IP was 18.9 mmcfd on an adjustable choke with a flowing pressure of 8765 psi. Production probably started in mid-December. Neighbors report that it was definitely flowing in early January.
First production, 390,794 mcf, was in December.  January was 405,028 mcf.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
