Hello, I'm new to all this and was wondering what I could find out about Sabine County in the Milam area. My mother has some land there under lease.

Hi Perry.  Be sure to check out the Sabine County group.  You will find several Milam area members in the group and the discussions will give you an overview of what has been going on in the county.  It's been a little bit quiet lately but, if you post a question, someone will come along with answers.

Thanks jffree. I think I saw a post by you somewhere about a rig in the north part of Sabine County close to Shelby county? And it was doing pretty well.??/ No pun intended.lol
Perry, the only horizontal well yet completed and reported was Chesapeake's Hezekiah #1H and it was a good IP (18.557 MMcfd).  We have high hopes but that is all... until we see more well reports from the north end of the county.

Thank You, .. Now is that the only completed and reported horizontal well in Sabine county? South included? Say... What is that map on your logo? I looked at the RRC map but it is a bit confusing. Is that a map of rigs and drilling locations?

Hezekiah 1H is not the only well drilled... just the only one with a completion report.

It's is a map of completed and permitted Haynesville wells ("borrowed" from TRRC).
