Million cfd north of I 20?

Have any Haynesville wells north of I 20 in Bossier Parish been connected to a pipeline yet? If they have what i'd really like to know is what cubic feet per day they have been putting out. If none have been connected, can an estimated guess be made of what they will be? Southern Star seems quite pleased with what they have found but i cant find a production rate per day anywhere. Thanks

A little background. Southern Star is the operator and 40% Working Interest owner in 5,300 net leasehold acres in the Sentell Field. Ramshorn Investments is a 40% WI owner and Dynamic Resources Corp. is a 20% WI owner. The following is from a Oct. 15, 2008 MarketWatch.com article: Company (SS) restructured in Nov. 2006 and has not realized any significant revenues from operations. The company is unlikely to generate significant earnings in the immediate or foreseeable future.

I guess until some of these wells start producing we want know how good they are in north bossier parish. Southern star could just be trying to sell stock or they might have "the" sweet spot. Either way, the way they lay it out there is nice, they've got stones . Where are the matador wells ben beagle is referring to?

I don't think they can "make up" well logs to sell stock.

They can report their good news, but I don't think they can just make it up.

Just because the log shows gas, it dosn't mean that it can or will produce. I have heard some stories that the quality of the rock north of 220 is not as good and does not respond to fracing as well as down in elm grove and caspiana. These may just be stories or rumors, or even cases of what happen when an operator with little to no horizontal experiance in a shale play messes up.

I too have met with Mr. Gibbs and others with the Southern Star Company. Not many folks will invite you out to a rig to watch. They are presently trying to put in a pipeline to their new wells. A friend and retired geologist also knows them and told me a few things. The current wells they have will be completed as vertical not horizonal wells. Once the pipeline is in place they will test them. We will see then who is telling the truth. they are drilling a new deep test now. Also CHK is drilling just a few miles southeast.
