great link les..., what is MMscf/d, i guess i just dont know what the "s" is. looks like these haynesville shale facilities are mainly compression and storage. when and how does cooling take place, would cooling be part of the treatment? i watched one of these big facilities being built from the ground up. it took a few months. i have seen and heard first hand, these smaller ones go up in a matter of days. why, if you know, do the haynesville companies choose to build or use these large facilities. seems like in other types of plays the trend is to build facilities at the well site. thanks again,

KJ, the "s" is for standard as in standard cubic feet. Technically it should be included but I normally leave out (MMcfd -vs- MMscfd).

Actually I believe you are seeing coolers (cooling fans w/motors) rather than compressors.

Generally it is better to utilize large centrallized gas treating. Many people are building 1000 gpm amine treating facilities.
