New Halcon TMS Permit: TMS RA SUA Walker H1, West Feliciana Parish

New TMS permit issued to Halcon for the TMS RA SUA Walker H1 well in West Feliciana Parish.  Attached is the Bore Path and Plat Map.  Looks to me like they will drill down to 13,041 feet and then start building the curve.  The lateral will by "toe up" type.

RR, this discussion belongs in the TMS group.  Please consider posting it there.  The difference is that this discussion will rather quickly rotate off the Main Page while it will remain on the list of TMS group discussions much longer.  For the vast majority of members, if they can't see the discussion, they can't find the discussion.  Very few use or seem to know how to use the site archives.

I screwed up. Sorry

No problem.  You can delete the Main Page discussion if you'd like.  As the TMS Play gains momentum we will have to come to some consensus about where to post information that makes it as simple to find as possible.  IMO it's best to post drilling unit and well data in the two primary groups, TMS and Mississippi Mineral Owners.  Discussions about sub-topics such as specific formation data (depth, thickness, resistivity, etc.) and lease term offers are better grouped under the specific County or Parish pages.

I started a discussion on this well in the TMS Group just in case it rotated off the Main Page.  In the past the site would send members of a group an email alert whenever a new group discussion was posted, I'm not sure if that is the case as Keith is in the process of changing things.  There are no alerts for new Main Page discussions, you just have to log on and look.  Once they rotate off the Main Page they are contained in the archive.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
