Goshdarn,
Chesapeake also seems to be very bad in its leasing relations. After the number of people left with agreements that Chesapeake refused to honor last year, I am amazed that anyone would deal with them, if there is another player in the mix.
Gee, someone actually read my posts! Cool. Thanks, GoshDarn.
Henry,
You can add me to the list of those that "read" you. :-D

Henry,
Don't know if you have seen this, but it isn't just NWLa that companies did this.

Petrohawk did the exact same thing............withdrew previous offers when the price of Nat gas fell out of bed. They just weren't dealing with as many folks so it didn't affect as many people.
Almost everyone dropped their offers when the bottom fell out.
I would agree. That is what lawyers and judges are for.
Ann, are you in Caddo Parish? If so, what part of Caddo, south, southwest? Thanks, Kitty
If Caddo, what part? South, southwest?
Thank you all for sharing the information you have gained from personal experience. We just want to make wise decisions minus the greed the Shale has sometimes created - including the operators and the property owners.
les-b , the rig going north in red river parish on hwy. 1 just south of coushatta turn...is this the southermost drilling being done in red river?
I believe this the Ralph Webb well, # 240159 (Sec 26, T12N, R10W). (If this isn't right, someone please correct me.) That's the southernmost well that I am aware of in RRP.
