SBossierGuy,

Thanks anyway.
Found this:

Although Petrohawk has drilled laterals on 28 wells in the Haynesville Shale, Wilson said the company has only publicly announced 10 wells so far. Petrohawk placed three additional Haynesville Shale wells on production in early December at a combined rate of 73 MMcfe/day, one with the highest reported initial production rate of any well in Petrohawk’s history, according to Wilson.

I think that may have been when they release the Sample IP though.

Just curious, what sort of decline curve were you using when you came up with a 35 year life expectantcy of a well?

see: www.haynesvilleplaly.com/2009/03/decline-curves.html for Goodrich Petroleum's decline curve which only allows for an approx. 15 yr. life.

Just curious and trying to learn all I can. Your posts in the past have been just fabulous!

(I, too, am UMI --AND without apologies, I might add.)

I like it too. Yep, that hard hat was getting old.
Thanks for posting this. I like the "expect 6 wells completed each month in 2009" part!
