Hello, I just recently purchased land and minerals in Desoto Parish. I have learned alot from this site Thanks to all of you for the collective knowledge. i was wandering if there were any fellow land owners from SEC 21 Township 11 Range 14. I have heard that Petrohawk is suppose to drill this Sec even though the lease is with Chk. Thanks

Kirk, if you want feedback from mineral owners in the area of S21-11N-14W, it is best to post in the DeSoto Parish Group.  Link follows:  http://www.gohaynesvilleshale.com/group/desotoparishnetwork

Section 21 is under Haynesville Drilling Unit order to Petrohawk.  This allows them to Force Pool all mineral interests within the unit boundaries, including those leased by Chesapeake or other operators/lessees.

Thank you ,I will join that network. I appreciate the response.

Kirk,

I have a mineral interest in 21-11-14. Petrohawk is going to drill a Haynesville well that will cover the entire section. The only down side to this area is that most of the wells that have been drilled in the  vacinity have not been very good producing wells. Good luck!!

Is this section just north of parish line/sabine-desoto?

Not sure new to area
Jay, thank you for the response. Do you know the time table for drilling by Petrohawk? Could you give me idea on what the other wells in area did. Thanks again

Thanks Les, in your opinion how does these wells look compared to others. Good ,fair ,poor. Any idea when Sec 21 will get drilled

Kirk, generally I would rate these wells as fair since they are at or slightly below average in performance.

Not sure when Section 21 will be drilled.  Petrohawk says 95% of their core acreage will be held by production by mid-2011.

Thanks Les, I appreciate the info. I guess I will have to wait and see out come.
