I've got it signed. We need six months like a hole in the head. Government is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Government didn't crap in the gulf. In times of crisis, it seems Libertarians progress to anarchists.

Well, BP has agreed to set aside $200 million to compensate workers who lose wages as a result of the moratorium, so this petition is kind of moot.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
