Was it Chesapeake that stated that each acre in the core area was worth potentially up to 250,000/acre given the right circumstances? Please, anyone correct me if I'm wrong. If I am correct, could anyone post that particular press release link or show me where to look? Thanks.

Thanks KB. I'll check it this afternoon.
Its value is clearly related to the value of Nat gas. I don't think Chesapeake envisioned Nat gas going to $3.50 if and when they made that statement.
How can they tell where a core area is if they have not drilled in lots and lots of sections? I believe there a core area around the cross lake area.
The wells north of Cross Lake have been less than exciting, there really haven't been any just to the south of it. I would expect The Cross Lake area to be a township too far north to be in the true core area.
