Question bout sec 17 16n-15w

I heard they were supposed to drill on my property soon. The pad has been completed and I just got a small check for sizemic. With the economy and price of gas I wonder if they will go ahead with drilling. Sorry for dumb question I just live really far. Heard there was maybe somthing in the Shreveport times yesterday bout my area. Just wanna be well informed. I'd number 238694. Sec 17-16n-15w. Can someone tell me what's going on.
