We received a division order on Indigo Minerals 31 and have a question. There are three numbers under the following headings:
BPO Net Acreage
BPO Lse/NRI/RI
and BPO Unit Int.

and then the same three numbers under the following headings:
APO1 Net Acreage
APO1 Lse/NRI/RI
and APO1 Unit Int.

Can someone tell me what these numbers mean and which number should I use to figure out our percentage of acreage in the section?

Thanks so much.

BPO...before pay out
APO...after pay out

unit interest should be figured like this..acreage you own divided by acreage in unit times royalty on lease
Thanks NA. My problem is that the bulk of our land is in a different section, township and range. When we got this DO we were surprised because we didn't realize part of our land was in the section north of us. So we see numbers for BPO and APO but don't know which numbers to use to figure out how much our land is in this other section. Can you tell us which of the numbers (net acreage or unit interest) is the one we use to figure out how much of our land is in the other section?
If they have listed gross acreage then you can take net and sutract it from gross. However if they didn't list gross you can take the acreage listed on your lease and subtract the net they gave you and that will tell you what is outside the unit.

I am assuming indigo holds the lease covering all the acreage
