Land & Knowles 18 H #1 update

I got word today that Land & Knowles 18 H #1had initial production of 20 MMCFD and was flowing today at 14 MMCF. Still waiting on SONRIS data.

YEAH!! Thanks for the info. Wish we could find the real initial production of Sec. 7 of 14/14. I have heard several people say 20 mmcd, but will feel better when it is confirmed. This must be a super area. Bet we see more gas factories in our area in 2011

I have seen data to support the 20 MMCFD for sections 6 & 7 T14N-R14W, however still waiting for SONRIS.

thanks. I heard over the weekend from one of the workers that both wells tested over 23mcfd. I don't really understand what they mean by "tested." Does that mean that for a few minutes they were 23mcfd and then choked back?

Not really sure what they mean by tested, but when a DT-1 test is run it's much longer than a few minutes. Here is the DNR rules:

NO TEST SHALL BE COMMENCED UNTIL THE WELL FLOW HAS STABILIZED, AND THE WELL
SHALL REMAIN ON A CONSTANT CHOKE THROUGHOUT THE TEST PERIOD. DURATION OF THE TEST SHALL BE OF SUCH LENGTH AS TO DETERMINE AN ACCURATE GAUGE.

it will be interesting to see what will be reported on Sonris for these wells. Have you heard if Encana is planning anymore gas factories for these areas? With the wells this good, one would think they would. Of course with CHEAP gas, it is hardly an incentive I guess

Yes I did on yesterday. Although I was told by Encana that it went online in August the check i received on yesterday was for the month of August.

James, we are in this unit also. What was the volumes for the August and Sept. months? We still have not received our divison order because of a title problem that is being worked out. Thanks!

what about everyone else in this section? Received their checks? James did you lease in 2008? We didn't acquire our property until 2009 and leased in late 2009. Maybe they are paying people who are part of the first group to lease

We received our check yesterday. I noticed you said your check was for August. My check also said August, but am wondering, do you know if it included anything for the month of September as well? We leased in early summer of 2008. Thanks
