You will find that posting a question like yours (location specific) is best done on the appropriate group page, in this case the Sabine County Group. When you post a new discussion in a group, all the members of that group get an email alerting them to your new discussion. When you post of the Main Page (Shale Related Topics), there is no email notice sent to members. They would have to log in and discover your discussion before it rotates down and off the main page. So, join the Sabine County Group and simple re-post your question there. Use this link. Since you are an industry member, you might want to look through the full list of groups. It is extensive.
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
