Very vague question there Carol.  They need your well information like serial number or section township range.

who is "they" groan field - sabine in the Swain area

Please consider posting this in the sabine parish group

Carol,

The first question to ask when you don't get a check in a particular month is, "Was the dollar amount of the check over $100?"  Many companies do not send monthly checks unless the amount is over $100.  So if your well is tapering down in its production, it may be that your check has fallen under $100.  If that is the case, Shell will likely wait until they owe you $100 before they send the next check.

Having said that, I have no idea if this applies to your well and holdings.

Thanks for that info- decided to call Shell they said they would call back next week with info??? At least we got our check from Encana - one is better than none, they have been running about the same amt and still over $100.. I am out of state so I occasionally try to check this site to find some news

Is Petrohawk (now BHP) involved in your well as operator? I am finding more and more people who have not received a ck from this for last 2 months. They are supposedly going through a computer conversion but will not respond. I will NEVER lease with this co. again. The old Petrohawk group was fantastic to deal with, but this co. is so big you can never get a response. Everything routs through a call center

we get 2 checks one from Encana and one from Shell- I spoke to lady in the royalty division, she had no info why, only guess was something w accounting but she is trying to forward my message to someone who does know? but I will not b holding my breath that anyone calls back, thanks for your response. maybe I will learn something soon.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
