Where did you hear this?

Samson was bought out by KKR (PE firm) late last year.  Doubt KKR could flip the whole thing this quick.    We will have to watch and see what KKR does with Samson, maybe sell off non-core assets as they go.

I think Samson Oil and Gas (a diff co., ticker SSN) may get taken over at some point.

I figure KKR will sell whole thing to China.  They sure aren't drilling much.  They have some none HS rigs working but no HS ones that I know of.

Does anyone know or can guess why two stock brokers are pushing Slumberj and Baker as buys with projection of double money in near future?  Who buying all these drilling supplies?

I'd like to know also.  I can't find anything by online that explains the reason.  So, if anyone has any info, please let us know.  Thanks.

Might buy Samson (KKR) acreage where its a good fit.  Don't expect full buyout of all assets

why wouldn't KKR just go into drilling agreements with people like Devon rather then sell leases?  Has anyone else talked to stock brokers this week?

I am going to these two companies web sites and see if there anything there that gives a clue who their big new customers are.
