I noticed on the Sonris website that the Lanier 16 in North Caddo was turned to sales on 12/21/2009.  On 12/28/2009 it was awaiting State Potential. On 2/03/2010 the well was potentialed. That's all it says. No production figures. Isn't this information supposed to be made public? I have been calling the Shreveport office of the LDNR, but they haven't been much help. I guess that there is so much activity in North Louisiana that there is a backlog on getting the information out. Any suggestions?  Jaime T

Jaime. The LOC staff does not have a backlog. The information contained in the reports they receive are current in the SONRIS databases. Calling them will not get what they do not have. The operator has not reported the IP data as yet. When they do, you will be able to access it on SONRIS Lite.
Thanks for the info, even if it's unconfirmed. Doesn't sound very promising. No word if the is a least a little oil condinsate in the mix? Am I the only one who thinks it's odd that there is apparently information about the well weeks ahead of any official state confirmation. What's up with that?
Based on what I have seen and heard from the wells in the area I believe this well will make a little condensate as well.
