Has anyone heard of things going on in this section.  Seems like wells and drilling in all sections around.  Just wondering

Sheila, EnCana and SWEPI ceased development in this area of the Play back in the Spring.  SWEPI had the majority of the wells in the south half of 10N - 11W and they are good wells.  The decision to stop drilling IMO was more about the economics of the Haynesville Play and not about the quality of the shale in that specific area.  Chesapeake is still drilling wells in the north half of the township and your section is a Chesapeake unit.  I also think that Petrohawk may drill some wells in this general area in the future.  Development is moving more slowly now especially in the SE corner of the Haynesville/Bossier prospective area.  I think you may have to wait a while but that all of 10N - 11W will likely be developed in time.  Good Luck.
