SNAPSHOT OF THE PLAY - HA APPS AND UNITS BY TOWNSHIP - 04/12/2010

The Snapshot Map is a simple means to view the boundaries of the Play as defined by unit applications.  These are not wells.  And many units do not contain HA wells permitted or drilling especially on the periphery.  The formation of drilling units is a leading indicator that gives some indication of operators' future intent to develop but until wells are actually completed and announced, there may be insufficient data to determine if wells will be economic,  Though the shale is highly contiguous in extent, it does vary in key properties and thus varies in production. Some areas that are not economic at current prices may be so in the future as higher nat gas prices.

Skip, this well is permitted in Red River Parish. 240917. Am I looking at this right drilling rig in Sec. 3 but the lateral going into sec 10.

Correct. The surface location is in Section 3. The lateral and perforations are located in Section 10.

Is there a way that we can get a snapshot of the play in Shelby County,
Texas? I would love to know what is around my acreage. Who would we contact
to get a map like this made up.

I'll stick to NW. LA. A Snapshot Map for E. TX would involve 10 times the effort and I just don't have the time to fit in the schedule.

Skip - Any idea of what the S-T-R is for the Baird Co./Slack Park acreage????? Is it possible that it's you-know-where????

Sesport, if you know the general location or an address the S-T-R can be derived from the Sonris interactive map. At least that is still working (KOW!!)

Les - I found it ... 601 Benton Kelly St., which would be S06-T16N-R13W according to what I can find. Shooooootttttt, I think that was an "almost, but borderline" lease. Still no signs of a unit for the "donut hole"? lol

What are the darker shaded areas of the map? Some in the HA and some outside the HA.

Jeff - I'll stick my neck out here and speculate that those are just stains from where Skip may (or may not) have spilled his drink. (just kidding)

Just bumping this up until Skip reappears. (I'll also speculate that his disappearance has something to do with Jay attempting, but being unsuccessful at, some kind of magic trick that involved pulling a dog in rabbit ears out of a hat. lol )

The darker shading is from the base map that I use and indicates the different parishes.
