http://sonris.com/dataaccess.asp
UNDER CONSERVATION CLICK ON WELL INFORMATION
THEN CLICK ON THE SEARCH YOU WISH TO PERFORM
I SUGGEST CHOOSING SEVERAL AS THIS WILL POPULATE THEM IN YOUR SEARCH LIST FOR FUTURE USE
ENTER THE PERTINENT INFORMATION FOR SECTION-TOWNSHIP-RANGE OR SERIAL NUMBER
HINT WHEN YOU USE S-T-R DO NOT INPUT THE SECTION, LEAVE IT BLANK AND JUST ENTER THE TOWNSHIP AND RANGE. THIS WILL SHOW YOU ALL THE WELLS IN THE TOWNSHIP. WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? THE WELLS ARE ORGANIZED BY SURFACE LOCATION BUT MANY HAYNESVILLE SHALW WELLS ARE DRILLED FROM AN ADJOINING SECTION. EXAMPLE, A WELL PRODUCING FROM SECTION 12 MAY HAVE A SURFACE LOCATION IN SECTION 1 OR SECTION 13. WELLS ARE ALWAYS DRILLED ON A NORTH/SOUTH AXIS. REGARDLESS OF THE SURFACE LOCATION, THE WELL NAME WILL CONTAIN THE NUMBER OR NUMBERS FOR THE SECTIONS THAT ARE BEING PRODUCED BY THAT WELL.

Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on January 2, 2018 at 5:18 At one time there3 was a group page, "SONRIS Help Center". A quick search does not find it. Although SONRIS has a number of changes the tutorial was still quite irrelevant. You might want to ask Keith if he can provide access to that group.

Some the of the links have probably changed over the years but we can provide new ones for anyone having trouble. SONRIS is a great source for mineral owners and lessors.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
