Spin off of Congratulations to Obama

I was reading that thread awhile back and someone asked how did we get in to this mess? We've been at this place I think they said 7 times before? Let's learn so we don't repeat history again.
I can't find where exactly it was in the Obama discussion to reply to it now. I wanted to add this link because I found it very helpful. It's a program called Saving our Economy. It has 6 parts to it.
