I am a surface and mineral owner on 425 acres about 14 miles south of San Augustine, Tx.  Approx 2 years ago I negotiated with several companies in the area to lease my property but we never came to an agreement.  It seemed at the time that my property was just south of the area in which they were most interested in.  However,  several landowners around me have leased and it appears that drilling is getting closer to my property.  Does anyone know if these companies are interested in leasing in my area?

Rodney, I don't remember which survey you are in but the most southern permit is in C. Hereford, A-17, which is still north of Hwy. 103. I don't know about leases south of 103... haven't looked recently. If you will post the surveys you are interested in maybe someone in that area will reply.
Thanks. My property in question is in the A. Chumley survey and Nicolas Coleman survey.
