Good. After permits are filed and a rig is assigned I'll start a separate discussion thread for each well. Thanks for the heads up.
I saw that Unit TMS RA SU D was permitted and has a pad ready to go...That is the BNez.......... SU M is flagged from hwy 38 right on the Tangi / Wash.parish line. This one is on a friends land. He has land in SU D,M and S ..........SU J has a pad being built right now off of hwy 450 S of 38........I know people in all of these units.......I think they will take us in a unit before Feb .......A lot of Primary Leases are coming up for expiration....
Time to get busy poking holes in the ground. Good luck to all the mineral lessors in those units. Please spread the word about GoHaynesvilleShale.com. This group and these discussion could use more participants to help share information and stay informed. We appreciate your help, Kevin.
To add something else interesting to this discussion, Last I heard some people were still Not leased But being contacted to do so.....Bonuses offers are going up....One offer was $ 650 per acre ,,,the other was $1100 per acre......both in Washington Parish, Little Silver Creek Field..........
Where competition for leases exists, offers improve. That's why it is important for unleased mineral owners to follow what is going on in their vicinity. Thanks for posting the bonus offers. Keep in mind that the bonus is the least important part of the lease. Royalty and protective/beneficial lease clauses should cime first.
Updated 11/10.
I see survey stakes on land to the East of Unit TMS RA SU J ...I haven t seen a map of a proposed unit yet ..Have you seen any new units in the Little Silver Creek Field Lately ???
Not since 11/10. I think there are multiple unit applications in the pre-conference notice period. I do not add unit applications to the list until they have completed that period and are entered in the Commissioner's public hearing schedule. At that time a plat of the proposed unit is available.
Just wondering...I had seen the survey action and was told that there would be a well pad going there but it is on land between SUJ and SUF in Wash.Parish....which last time I looked was not in a unit yet......I know the owner ..When I see him I ll ask him.....

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
