T18N-R14W Section 8, Lots 8,9,10

We are looking at accepting the acreage (approx 80 acres) and mineral rights as part of a debt settlement.  I am reaching out to Haynesville Shalers to see if anyone can give me some guidance of the drilling activity in this area as well as if companies are actively leasing in this specific area.  We are attempting to place a market value that we could expect if we were to liquidate this acreage one we have acquired it.  Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you contact an independent landman or oil and gas attorney.  I think you'll find it hard to compare comps on a property that size and that there are a lot of ways to value the minerals.

How about a licensed land appraiser...

Or a licensed land appraiser  :)

must be a pretty good sized debt.

too far north for HA.

at least at $3 gas
