What's going in sec 30 17n 15w ?

I have a friend that has 3 lots in sec. 30 17n 15w leased with Chespeake, received DO showing 30 and 31, called CH and received new DO listing only 30.

First royalty check shows income from both sec 30 and 31.

If I am figuring his payment decimal correct

From lease 0.578512 acres/639.6 =9.044715 X .25 = 2.26117

sec 30 CK paying payment decimal of .0005940 Oct.

                                                           .0005940  Nov.

                                                           .0005936 Dec.

 

saec 31                                               .00005160 Oct.

                                                           .00005160 Nov.

                                                           .00005151 Dec.

Where am I wrong?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
