the information is on SOnris. you will need to know what field you are in to check the field order listings (Black Book)

 

Most of the HA units show up on the GIS maps. The rest will not.

Both wells in your section were wildcats. You probally are not in a field, and therefore no filed orders would apply other than the statewide rules.

Select Field Order and enter 5956 which is the code for the Liberty Field.  There are a relatively small number of units for the field and you can look at the plat for each if you would care to double check.  I agree with The Baron, it's unlikely that there is a unit order covering your section.

Thanks guys!  I have been a member for a couple of years and have learned much from your input and answers.  Maybe in the future, Eastern Beinville parish will become feasible to produce from and I can get more involved in these discussions.  Just trying to be prepared when the time comes.  Thanks again.

OK now, I have researched my property and have found that it has been unitized with 7 other sections.  The order states that CV res A & HOSS res C. This was done by Chesapeake.  Does this mean that all companies producing from these sections must abide by this order and all minerals produced in the unitized sections must be distributed proportionally amongst the land holders in the complete unit?  Also, if this unit is formed for these 2 formations, can a separate unit be applied for to unitize another formation and contain different Sections?  I also have found that my section has been forced pooled.  Should this have any bearing on future leasing?

Good work DB, you're quick.  I believe that your CV unit is by Anadarko.  The 7 sections included in the unit application and order are for individual Sand Units (SUA, SUB, etc.).  Each is separate and under the force pooling element of the order all mineral owners within the unit boundaries would share proportionally in the production of that unit.  A unit designation is good indefinitely until dissolved by another application/order and the  unit order does not require that wells be drilled.  Yes, additional units can be formed for all or part of the sections for other formations whether they are shallower or deeper.

Thanks, so let me get this straight.  If one was to produce a well in this unit in the HOSS res., then it would be covered under the forced pool.  BUT, if they produce out of another formation it would only be included in the unit.  The unit order # 578-1 includes the CV res A and the HOSS res C.  How does this differ and affect royalty owners?

578-1 approves Down Hole Combination of production from the existing CV and HOSS units.  This is possible because the same mineral interests are cover by both units.  Therefore the proportional production is the same for the interests in both units.  Any production from a formation or formations other than the CV and HOSS would be under the spacing rules and regulations of the Office of Conservation.
