Would Exxon or BP be better or worse than Chesapeake for our area?

Do you think that Exxon or BP would be better than Chesapeake?

In my opinion the advantage would be that they have more money to drill.

I'm sure there are plenty of disadvantages, what are they?

Graysands, several new LNG supply projects in Qatar, Russia, Indonesia, Australia & Yemen will be started up in the next two years. Much of this new supply was based on increasing demand in places like China, Korea, Europe, US, Mexico, etc. With the current global recession it is unclear if demand is sufficient to absorb all this new supply. Some of this LNG supply is sold under firm long term contracts so will not be impacted. The remainder was planned to be sold on a "spot" basis and will have to find a "dumping ground".

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
