In the process of up dating my tracking spreadsheets I checked on the Huff which has been producing since December of 2013 but does not have a completion report on file.  Since we ceased to discuss the well some months back in the original Tuscaloosa Marine Shale group I thought I would add this discussion for the Amite County Group.  I expect that official completion data will be entered in the MSO&GB database in the future.  Here is an excerpt from the database of a letter from Goodrich to the state.

Re          Huff 18-7H No. 1

               API 23-005-20773

               ALFRED C. MOORE FIELD

               AMITE CO., MS

The Huff 18-7H 1 was planned to be drilled to 18,351'.  Upon reaching a depth of 17,928', the drilling was stopped due to fractured formation entering the hole.  The pipe became stuck & the string was severed @ 17,377'.  After pulling out of the hole a clean out run was made to 16,439'.  It was difficult to clean out any deeper.  The casing was then run to 16,138' and cemented as it was non-productive to attempt run the casing any further.

Skip your doing a great service as always. One thing I wish you would do, If you have the info., is if you would list the sec, tsp an range by each of the wells you are following on your main page? Sure would help a  dummy like me locate their where-a- bouts on my maps. thanks

james, the LA TMS wells should have a link to the SONRIS well file which provides the section-township-range.  I'll go back and add the s-t-r to the MS wells as I have the time.

Thanks Skip, this will be a big help for me, as I try to keep up with the Amite county wells.
