We were contacted by an attorney 4 1/2 years ago staying we own mineral rights in the Jose de la Garza survey and that they were drilling in the area. We provided them with the documents they asked for, ie copy of wills. After about 6 months I called the atty again and was told if they drill in our area and hit anything they would contact us. I have never heard back. Am I missing something? How do I know if they ever drill in that area or if we are ever owed money? Thank you for your help. I'm sure this seems simple but this is very new for us.
