What county is this in? Did they actually show you a lease? If they did how bad was it,and who was the company? Of course the $50 was horrible! Surely they know better than that by now.
It is in Nevada County (Bodcaw) and I believe the name of the company was Atlanta oil.
I have heard of Atlanta Oil trying to get leases for $50 and then coming back with a decent offer!
in Township 14 South, $50/ac. sounds great. You might get $25/ac. now . LOL
They are paying more than that and they are giving a good royalty interest! Come up with something fair, they will pay it!!

They are going tothe smackover . What % royalty did they offer? You should be getting at least 150.00 and 20% And that is with a good lease, not the one that they want you to sign!!!
This is in BODCAU, home of the 2 barrel a day oil well. I leased for $50 and 3/16ths on several tracts.
