There are so many Landmen working Bienville Parish they had to move to a larger work area. I was told there are 40 to 50 a day working. Is this alot? Seems like a good sign for Bienville to me.

40 or 50 a day is a huge number of landmen. Sounds to me that they like what they see in Bienville Parish.
They have moved to the La. ag center in Arcadia. If I get over that way I'll see how big the crowd is.
Anyone know who they are working for........... Any news on the LOE well???????

I have been dragging around, what with grandson football games and practices, and I have not been in to the location of Nabors 456 lately. We were by there yesterday and they had a dozer sitting in a new clearing they just made off to the side of the location. I will go sometime today and see if anyone will tell me what is going on.
Here's what is going on today. They are still drilling. The clearing off to the side is the end of a right-away that goes due west across 371. On the other side of the road it goes out of my sight due west. I have a connection at Centerpoint and I am going to ask him who has a pipeline over there. There was not one guy that came close enough for me to get any particulars about depth or any thing else. They must be fairly confident to already buy and clear for what looks like a 14 or 16" pipeline. That's what the pipe laying on the ground looked like to me.

Thanks very much Philpapa, We talked to Petrohawk and they have been having a lot of problems with that well due to 300 deg. Bottom hole temps killing the directional tools. They also said they were not interested in acreage to the east. We will have to see what kind of well it makes after they frac, that could change their minds. Thanks again and have a great week.
I talked to an engineer who said that bottom hole temps has, and is, a problem in the HS since the get go. He says it's not a new problem. Maybe someone who actually knows would comment.

According to sonris, they started 10,747 on 7/28, on 8/3 they were at 11,972 then on 8/10 at 12,659 they made a "bit trip", and they are at 16,152 and drilling now.
Catfish. Are you referring to 40 to 50 in the Clerk of Court's Record Room checking title? If so, that is a lot.
kip, yes they had to move them to larger work area at the la ag office. They requested some equipment from me to help accomodate them.
Do you know of any leasing activity in the Saline, Friendship area?
I have no idea on what specific area they are covering. Also i have not been there to count landmen. The person in the ag office gave me that number anyway there are too many for the old spot to handle.
I wonder if they are working for SEI the seismic company buying seismic shoot options?
