I was just contacted by a female rep from Twin Cities and offered $2000 and 22%. I was also told that I should take it and that they weren`t paying any more than that. Also she stated that the East 80 group was no longer together,[wrong]. I almost told her to come on over,[not].

This area of the site must be dead. Anybody else awake in Bossier Parrish
Well spoken/written. I am in no hurry, as I don`t need the $ to pay bills or eat. I am very blessed with the ability to work both of my jobs and support 2 kids in college. I also was making the comment as no one else has been posting here on the Bossier site. Peace
This Parrish is dead. No action or is everyone asleep ?
Mr. Tyler,

Have you contacted the East 80 group?

Personally I wouldn't wait on them. I also would consider a deal with Twin Cities, but try for 1/4 royalty.
Baron we have a meeting sometime next week. I`m in no hurry not going anywhere for a few more years untill I retire. Thanks for your opion though. Peace
To everyone wondering about the status of the East 80 Oil and Gas Coalition. My name is Eric Clarke, I am the president of the coaliton. We are here and strong. We have recieved numerous messages about Twin Cities saying we are no longer. Well they could not be any furter from the truth. I guess they are not viewing our web site becuase if they were then they would know better. Then again what better way to scare someone into signing their lease than to take away the hope of someone having someone working for them to protect them. I see here that someone has posted "not to wait on us" and to only work for 25% royalty. I guess this person has no idea what we are working for and what the purpose of the coalition. We are far more than just a royalty payment or a bonus payment. If money is the only thing this person has to worry about then I feel sorry them and that the person does not value their home and community, like the over 2000 members of the coalition has been and continues to do. That is funny
I had a lady who was trying to get me to join told me they were going to get 35K per acre. I know she was misinformed but It was all I could do to keep from laughing. She was all worked up about it. The reason I didn't join, o&g works in sections and some have more value than others. I got a lease with all the clauses I asked for so I'm happy.

I do hope that east 80 gets the best deal possible for all!
Thanks for the kind words Catfish. I`m not here to bash anyone and I think that everybody has a price and or a comfort zone. Peace
Thanks for all your hard work Eric. Im in Philadelphia , Pa and keep tabs on the gas movement though your web site. These land people are no diffrent than a used car sales person, good people working for the wrong intention , for a greedy company, driven by sales managers to increase their profits and drive sales bonuses. If the true value of the mineral leases ever hit the streets as common knowledge, a pitch for $2000 an acre is laughable. One way to get things going the right way is for these companies to over pay local goverments for mineral rights, what better way to get in the back pockets. Here in Philadelphia we also have the best politicians money can buy. How can a local parish allow a compnay to fleece ( ya I said fleece) their local citizens when the parish has been paid 10 times that amount. I WILL SIT ON OUR 30 ACRES AND WAIT OUT THE MARKET PRICE FOR NATURAL GAS.
