Freestone County

XTO Energy will drill the W. H. Day, Et Al Gas Unit No.1 Well No. 4H to 15,200 feet, 2.1 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier) Field.


XTO Energy will drill the Ham Gas Unit Well No. 15H to 19,000 feet, 3.9 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley Bossier) Field. This well is in the J. Lawrence Survey, A-364.

Leon County

XTO Energy will drill the Fullen Gas Unit Well No. 5H to 18,500 feet, 5.2 miles northwest of Jewett in the Isaac Connelly Survey, A-1152 in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field to a depth of 18,500 feet. It may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis or Pettit) Fields.


The Bedsole Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled by BRG Lone Star to 12,500 feet, 4.8 miles southwest of Jewett in the W. McIntire Survey, A-538. It is in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field and may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field, the Branton (Rodessa) Field or a wildcat field.


In a lease 4.9 miles southwest of Centerville, EnCana Oil & Gas will drill the Gresham Trust Well No. 3 to 22,000 feet. The well is in the J.M. Hallmark Survey, A-339, in a wildcat field.



Robertson County

The Petteway SWD Well No. 1 will be drilled by XTO Energy to 7,200 feet 10 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Travis Peak) Field. It is in the J. Farris Survey.

Limestone County

In a wildcat field Stroud Petroleum will drill the Watson Well No. 4 to 14,000 feet, nine miles west of Donie in the M.R. Palacios Survey, A-21. The well may be drilled in the Personville (Travis Peak) Field, Oletha (Travis Peak) Field, or Freestone (Cotton Valley Bossier Consolidated) Field.


Devon Energy will drill the Mildred Thompson "A" Well No. 6H to 13,500 feet in a lease 13.9 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone (Cotton Valley Bossier Consolidated). The well is in the J.L. Chavert Survey, A-4.

Completions:

Freestone County

XTO Energy completed the Melvin Waldrip Gas Unit II Well No. 9 to 14,420 feet, one mile south of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. This well potentialed 1.521 million cubic feet of gas on an 11/64-inch choke in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.


XTO Energy completed the Humphries Gas Unit Well No. 6 to 12,452 feet, two miles north of Teague in the Teague Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.988 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.


Anadarko Petroleum completed the Worthy "A" Unit Well No. 11 to 12,938 feet, 2.1 miles south of Donie. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.734 million cubic feet of gas in the Bear Grass Field in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
