Developmental:
Freestone County

The W. H. Day, Et Al Gas Unit #1 Well No.4H will be drilled 2.1 miles southwest from Fairfield in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well will be drilled to bottom at 15,200-feet by XTO Energy Inc.Robertson County

The Petteway SWD Well No.1 will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. in the Bald Prairie (Travis Peak) Field. This well will be located ten miles northwest from Franklin in the Farris, J Survey, A-147 with a depth of 7,200-feet.

Leon County

XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Fullen Gas Unit Well No.5H in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field to a depth of 18,500-feet. This well will be located 5.2 miles northwest from Jewett in the Isaac Connelly Survey, A-1152. This well may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field or the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field.


The Bedsole Gas Unit Well No.2 will be drilled by BRG Lone Star Ltd. in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field. This well will be located 4.8 miles southwest from Jewett in the Mc Intire, W Survey, A-538 and will bottom at 12,500-feet. The well may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field, the Branton (Rodessa) Field or a Wildcat Field.


Completion:
Freestone County

The Melvin Waldrip Gas Unit II Well No.9 has been completed by XTO Energy Inc. in the Bear Grass Field one mile south of Donie. This well bottoms at 14,420-feet and potentialed 1.521 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 11/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


The Teague Field has seen the Humphries Gas Unit Well No.6 completed by XTO Energy Inc. The well is located two miles north of Teague with a depth of 12,452-feet. When gauged on a 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 7.988 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.


When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Worthy "A" Unit Well No.11 potentialed 4.734 million cubic feet of gas. Anadarko Petroleum Corp. has completed this well to a depth of 12,938-feet in the Bear Grass Field 2.1 miles south of Donie. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

That Humphries Gas Unit #6 sure looks like a nice one. Just under 8 mmcfd on a 20/64 restricted choke for a vertical completion.
