Leon County
XTO Energy will drill the Gail King Well No. 10H to 18,000 feet 6.3 miles northwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It is in the I. Connelly Survey, A-1152.

The Clute Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 10 and the Clute-Diehl Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 10 will be drilled by Forest Oil in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field. The wells will hit 13,000 feet.
The Clute Gas Unit is 1.3 miles northeast of Jewett in the M. Elam Survey, A-255.
The Clute-Diehl Gas Unit is 1.8 miles northeast of Jewett in the W.R. Russell Survey, A-760. Both wells may be drilled in a wildcat field.

Limestone County
China Star Oil will drill the Muy Bonita Well No. 1 to 999 feet drilled four miles west of Groesbeck in the Judy J. (Nacatoch) Field. It is in the T.P. Plaster Survey, A-437 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.

COMPLETIONS

Freestone County

The Dunlap “A” Well No.1 has been completed by Valence Operating Co. in the Burleson Hill, East Field. The well is located 2.3 miles southeast from Lanely with a depth of 15,078-feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.367 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier formation.

XTO Energy Inc. has completed the Vestal Gas Unit No.1 Well No.17 in the Farrar Field. This well is located 2.1 miles southwest of Donie with a depth of 14,390-feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 709,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

Limestone County
XTO Energy completed two wells in the Farrar Field.
The Phillps "A" No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 20 hit 13,980 feet 15.8 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 3.111 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke.
The Reed Gas Unit II Well No. 9 hit 12,780 feet 14.9 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 1.816 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

Berry Oil completed two wells in the Freestone Field.
The Alton Sims Well No. 26 hit 13,100 feet 14 miles west northwest of Jewett and potentialed 2.205 million cubic feet of gas on a 21/64-inch choke.
The Alton Sims Well No. 28 hit 13,100 feet 13.9 miles northwest of Jewett and potentialed 3.018 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

Robertson County

XTO Energy Inc. has completed the Milstead Gas Unt Well No.8 in the Bald Prairie Field. This well is located 11.8 miles northeast from Franklin with a depth of 13,360- feet. When gauged on a 12/64-inch choke, this well potentialed 1.720 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation
