Completions:
Freestone County


XTO Energy completed three wells in the Freestone Field.


The J. A. Gilliam II Gas Unit Well No. 11 hit 12,770 feet 6.7 miles southwest of Teague and potentialed 2.177 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.


The C.C. Thompson Gas Unit Well No. 37 hit 12,445 feet 8.1 miles south of Teague and potentialed 1.422 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke.


The C.C. Thompson Gas Unit Well No. 38 hit 12,234 feet 8.7 miles southeast of Teague and potentialed 303,000 cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consoli-dated.


Devon Energy completed the HB Pyle A-Neal B (SA) Well No. 1H to 12,726 feet 5.2 miles southeast of Fairfield in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. This well potentialed 15.318 million cubic feet of gas on a .50-inch choke in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Leon County

The Hilltop Resort Field has seen the A. D. Carr A Well No. 5 completed by EnCana Oil & Gas to 18,090 feet 3.5 miles northwest of Wealthy. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 12.888 million cubic feet of gas in the Bossier.

Limestone County

On a 26/64-inch choke the Mildred Thompson "A" Well No. 11 potentialed 2.349 million cubic feet of gas. Devon Energy Production completed the well to 13,546 feet 13.8 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

Freestone County
XTO Energy completed the Ham Gas Unit Well No. 15H 3.9 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.976 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

Anadarko E&P completed the Worthy "A" Unit Well No. 12 to 13,145 feet 2.1 miles south of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.936 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.


Leon:
Valance Operating completed the Lewis "B" Well No. 6 to 13,890 feet in a lease 6.8 miles west of Jewett in the Farrar Field. The well potentialed 1.654 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley Lime.

Limestone County
XTO Energy drilled the Fern V. Robinson Gas Unit Well No. 5 to 14,770 feet 17.8 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 219,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke in the Bear Grass Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Completions:
Freestone County

Devon Energy completed the Mt. Peyton-FE Hill (SA) Well No. 2H to 12,605 feet 5.8 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. On a .4687-inch choke the well potentialed 17.429 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


XTO Energy completed the Butler Gas Unit Well No. 17 in the Teague Field to 11,869 feet 3.3 miles southeast of Teague. On a 24/64 inch choke, the well potentialed 657,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier.

Limestone County

XTO Energy completed the Richard H. Gross, etal Well No. 24 and the Reed Gas Unit II Well No. 10.


The No. 24 hit 11,583 feet nine miles southwest of Donie in the Freestone Field. The well potentialed 730,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke.

Robertson County

XTO Energy completed the Mitchell Gas Unit III Well No. 26 and the Bilsing Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 2 in the Bald Prairie Field. The No. 26 hit 13,030 feet 10 miles northeast of Franklin and potentialed 2.010 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. The No. 2 hit 11,975 feet 6.3 miles northwest of Franklin and potentialed 1.064 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.


XTO Energy completed the Anchicks Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 1 to 14,200 feet 3.1 miles southeast of Calvert in the Calvert Field. The well potentialed 2.595 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


The No. 10 is 14.7 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar Field. The well hit 12,720 feet and potentialed 1.273 million cubic feet of gas on a 15/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.

Leon County

On a 40/64-inch choke the Lewis "B" Well No. 21 potentialed 1.004 million cubic feet of gas. Valence Operating completed the well to 13,765 feet in the Farrar Field 7.3 miles west of Jewett. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime.


BRG Lone Star completed the Bedsole Gas Unit Well No. 2 and the Furlough Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Bear Grass Field.


The Bedsole Gas Unit Well No. 2 is 4.8 miles southwest of Jewett and hit 10,500 feet. On a 10/64-inch choke the well potentialed 520,000 cubic feet of gas.


The Furlough Gas Unit Well No. 2 is 2.7 miles west of Jewett and hit 10,450 feet. On a 10/64-inch choke the well potentialed 728,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.

Gregg County

Anadarko E&P Company LP will drill the Alford Jones Deep Gas Unit Well No.1HH in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well will bottom at 12,500-feet ten miles southeast from Carthage in the Lee, I Survey, A-237.

Johnson County

The Gearhart Well No.3H will be drilled 9.9 miles north from Cleburne in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. Chesapeake Operating, Inc. will drill this well to a depth of 9,000-feet in the Catlett, H G Survey, A-178.

EOG Resources, Inc. will drill the Beckham Unit Well No.9H, the Beckham Unit Well No.10H and the Beckham Unit Well No.11H in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The wells will bottom at 2.8 miles southwest from Lillian in the Hendricks, E Survey, A-328 with a depth of 8,900-feet.

In a lease 8.1 miles south from Bono in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field, the Ormsby Unit Well No.4H will be drilled by EOG Resources, Inc. This well will bottom at 8,999- feet in the Moseley, J S Survey, A-972.

Chesapeake Operating, Inc. has completed three new wells in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The Buchanan Well No.6H will be drilled 5.6 miles northwest from Cleburne in the Wallace, J Survey, A-861. The Olai Well No.2H and the Olai Well No.3H will be drilled 4.6 miles northwest from Cleburne in the Stephens, J Survey, A-779. The wells will bottom at 9,000- feet.

Freestone County

The Bear Grass Field has seen the Worthy “A” Unit Well No.12 completed by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. This well is located 2.1 miles south of Donie with a depth of 13,145-feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 6.936 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
