Is the highest confirmed offer in DeSoto parish, the one the police jury signed for $28,000/acre? Also does anyone know what percentage of royalties the police jury got??

DeSoto Parish received $27,521 per acre and 27.5% royalty
Thanks insomniacnla! Are individuals getting offers close to these numbers, say for 15-20 acrea blocks?
The highest offer I personally have received so far is $20,000 per acre from Chesapeake. I am in 15n, 14w, east side of Stonewall. It is already more than I could have imagined but over on the west side of Stonewall, I have heard offers of more than $26,000 per acre.
Where is your property in Desoto ? I'm in T14NR14W. What are you hearing about this area? Around the Gloster area?
I am on the east side of Stonewall, right before it runs into Frierson, by I-49.

Kassi is on the west side (and more valuable side) of Stonewall and is much closer to where Chesapeake is currently drilling.
Have you heard any news about the Well off the Red Bluff Road. I believe drilled on Burford property? Who is drilling? Any info?
Any report of offers in the Logansport area off of Hwy 191, "Red Fox" area, I think that it is called?
Shut in well in Sec 21 near Red Fox. Most section surrounding are under leases from 2 yrs ago.
Bonus money is great, and like you say more than most people could imagine, but is anyone effectively negogating more than 25% royalty. If this turns out as big as they say the royalties may be where the big money's at.
I have heard rumors but I do not know anyone personally. TCB on this site may have mentioned 27% in some of her posts but I am not sure.
I have seen some comments from Caddo area about $30/30%, but have not seen anyone confirming those numbers and especially not in DeSoto. BTW, I'm out of state so I'm following this from afar.
The highest I have seen a copy of was in Caddo parish for $25,000.00 and 25%. It was not a good lease however because there were many clauses in it that will deminish the royalty with costs and allow the company to pretty much do whatever they want with the peoples land. It is better to have good land protections and maintain land owner rights than have a few extra up front $$$ in my view.
