I heard that they are putting in a larger pipeline for the Bozeman Well per a Landman for Camterra. Also Camterra said that they should be sending the Divisional Orders Out sometime towards the end of this week. Has anyone heard any different?

Boo,

Have you looked at the production amounts for the Bozeman well? The Bozeman well is a vertical Haynesville that is only producing about 2,500 mcf per month or less. Did the landman give a reason as to why the pipeline would need to be larger?
Insomniac, did you get your papers regarding sec. 21-15-14 Desoto? Encana is supposedly going to do 2 wells this yr. in that section and 4 in sec. 22. Aren't you in 15-14?
Yes, I did receive the notice and I attended the conference in Natchitoches. Encana has only applied to have our sections unitized at this time and did not ask to be appointed as operator of our sections. I heard that the o/g companies prefer to wait until a drilling permit is requested before they ask to be appointed as operator because that is the way the Office of Conservation likes to do it. But I do not know that for sure, just what I heard.

At the pre-hearing conference on 2-12-09, the attorney or the geologist for Encana said that the only wells that he knew would be drilled this at this time would be 2 wells, one being drilled in June or July, 2009 on J.B. Davis' property in Sec. 26 and another well later in the fall, but I can't remember the exact section. I do remember that it was not in my section or in your section 21. But, who knows what may end up happening.

One thing that concerned me, and I do not know what could be done about it anyway, was that I spoke with the geologist for Encana and asked if the well locations for our sections had been determined yet and if Encana plans on drilling horizontal or vertical Haynesville wells. He said that Encana's current plans are for horizontal wells but that their plans could change due to "economic reasons" and that Encana may at some point, decide to drill vertical Haynesville wells "to maintain their leaseholds".
insomniacnla, off the topic of the Bozeman well, are you aware of a pre-hearing conference scheduled for the application for a unit for my Sec. 21-15-13? I plan on going, but don't know if there are particular issues I need to look out for. Can you touch base with me? Thanks.
I think that conference was las Thurs. Feb. 19.
Yes, our conference was on the 19th but the conference for McWilliams' section is March 5.
insomniac, Encana is going to drill Sec. 22 and 21 in 2009. Some of the leases in Sec. 21 will expire this year. Those may be vertical wells to hold the lease, but they will drill them
Best wishes to your family and to getting your well in section 21 and thank you for the info! Was it someone that works for Encana that told you about it?
