We waited for months to see this well go into production but I guess that it wasn't meant to be . Wow what a big dissapointment !!!! Hopefuly they will come back and try again in the future. We would like to be apart of this big boom in some little way since we sure didn't get the big bucks for leasing.

I recieved my check saying it was a shut-in royalty payment dated June 5th. I have called Chesepeake to try and get some answers on it. They said they would have the man over this area to call me. This was last week. Not really expecting the call.
GL--I dont believe that they have given up on this well.
#1--With Shut in pay, you assume that there is something there to get in the future. How long can they hold it without making a well?

#2--Does anyone know what the law is on this? They have speant a lot of money on this hole , just to quit on it. Wouldn't the lease end if they have quit on this hole? If not how long can it go on.
Most of the people"s lease would have run out early this year if they had not spudded the hole when they did.
