PetroHawk just contacted me about a well on my surface for a well in a different section. Does anyone have an idea on what they will pay for damages in addition to the timber value?
It varies depending on details. You need to engage the services of an experienced O&G attorney who is familiar with current valuations. There is surface value (well pad(s) and easements for roads and pipelines) and sub-surface value (well bore easement). The value of all these elements is tied to location and proximal development activity.
Geoff, What section? I assume T11 r10.
Bump
heard they had 1000 feet to go on the lateral on the ruffin well
thanks.
Buckmaster,

I noticed the rig has been moved to a new location. Any word when they will frac it?
This well should be frac'd late Feb. and other wells will be drilled in the area during the year.
sampson is in process of laying a pipelinefrom the ruffin well. i heard that when they got through drilling the priest well they were going to move the rig back to the ruffin location and drill a well in sec 6. i think if this happens they will wait and frac both of the wells one after the other
pipeline will go from ruffin to priest. samson is also looking to drill wells in 17 and 18 of T11 R10.
saw a large flame coming from this well this morning. Was told by Samson they would be fracking it late February. They expect 1 1/2 million per frac with about 13 frac's to be completed.
olddog,
Wow!
