Are there any other landowners on here in this section? We own land here, but our lease is HBP from a different parcel. I was wondering what company is the major lease holder in this section? On the map I have it says John Harris, LaBokay,Richard Evans, San Patricio Cattle as the owners in this section. Any info is appreciated

Crumchy,
I think your section has been unitized by SWEPI.
Henry, just to add to your comment.

S21-T11N-R12W, JUR RA SUB Unit, Shell, Brushy Bayou Field, De Soto Parish
I know that shell unitized us. Does that mean that they are the majority lease hold? They told us they weren't going to drill us for a while. I wanted to know if the other company that owns leases in the section might drill.
Crunchy, Shell probably has most of the leased acreage in the section and has been designated operator of the unit. Therefore it is unlikely another company would propose a Haynesville Shale well in the section.
Crunchy,
You say Shell told you they weren't going to drill your section "for a while." Did they say how long? 1 year? 2 years? 3 years? Did you get any more info out of them? Did they give a reason for not drilling now?
There may have to be a little monoply played on this section. The only ones leased to EnCana/Shell as of the last of what I know is the Harris property and San Patricio Cattle Co. LaBokay & Evans are probably playing hardball, since they can, but it might be that they are HBP.
That is only about 260 acres leased by EnCane/Shell, not counting the smaller acres. The ones you mentioned are the biggest property owners. Others (i.e. chk, petrohawk) may have their foot in this section and have leased some.
How many acres do you have in sec 21?
It has been a while since we talked to them about it. I thought that they said that they were not going to drill because the other company that owns leases in this section are very hard to work with. They said they had no plans to drill any time soon. Of course it was the landman doing the talking, so who knows?
Evans is probably leased to CHK, most of their land is under a CHK lease.
Thanks. Yeah I saw that Evans has land in another section (with a well). I figured they are probably HBP. I guess the only wildcard would be LaBokay.
