Got a callback from Chesapeake late yesterday afteroon informing me that the reason for the delay in some of the Virginia Packert 6H royalties is because they haven't finished verifying all the title work. The rep said Chesapeake holds 21% of the leases in that section.

The activity you see in section 8 is a pipeline. I think what was reported as a super pad survey was really a pipeline survey.

I have not seen it on DNR website yet, so will be awhile before it is permitted. I have heard that 2 wells will go into Sec. 7 from that site. I am just trying to figure out how a well in southwest corner of Sec. 8 can leg over to sec. 7 and go up. Anyone on here with answers
