FYI:
Got a callback from Chesapeake late yesterday afteroon informing me that the reason for the delay in some of the Virginia Packert 6H royalties is because they haven't finished verifying all the title work. The rep said Chesapeake holds 21% of the leases in that section.

DeeDee,
According to sonris, Encana is drilling in section 8.
No new permits, just one Encana well that was permitted back in 9/26/08. It's been producing since 3/01/09.
DeeDee,
The activity you see in section 8 is a pipeline. I think what was reported as a super pad survey was really a pipeline survey.
Road is stacked out as is the pad. I have not been down Long Rd., but was told you could see the road stakes from there. AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
