Looks like Trinidad finished drilling this well. They moved out yesterday. Sec 8 has finished drilling. They should be fracing before long.

Harley,
Thanks for the update; I have been trying to follow this wells progress on Sonris, but, last report I saw shows them still drilling on 2/5. Any idea about how long it takes to have a well frac'd after drilling is completed? We appreciate your on the ground report; I hope they had no problems on this well.
Good Luck,
Shelby
Did they move over to 16? Just curious.

Also, wonder how long before we know the IP.
Shelby, our well in sec 22 reached total depth on 10/14. They fraced it on 11/3 and completed it 12/15 so it took roughly a month in between TD to frac then another month to complete. I am sure it depends on units available.

drillthe shale they completed our well on 12/15 but did not post in Sonris until 2/5. Dont know if this is the norm or not but I figure thats what you will see. I am not sure if the rig moved to 16 or not but will do a little checking on that. I had heard they were going to put 16 on the same location as sec 9 but am not sure.
Harley,
Thanks for getting back on your report; I was wondering if they had moved the rig off site in sec 22 when they reached total depth, and then relocated it back on site to frac. As a novice, do they need the drill rig to frac, or, does another crew come in without the requirement of the drill rig? Trying to figure out the process on how it's done. Section 22 came in with pretty strong IPs if I recall. Good luck as things develop for you.
Thanks,
Shelby
They moved the rig once TD was reached then they brought all the frac equip in. No drill rig for that. Once that was completed they brought a small completion rig in I assume to set the wellhead. I do not know much myself on the process just what I have witnessed. Sec 22 came in at 5.8 mcfd with a good flowing pressure. Not as good as some of those sections below us but certainly better than some of the others. Those rigs on 17 & 8 were all off our road. They were not as loud as I figured they were going to be. Just alot of traffic on our little road. Hopefully they will soon smooth it back out some. Good luck in your sec also.
Thanks Harley,
Look forward to finding out how it turns out on this well. Sounds like they are rolling strong in your area, sure hope they get your road smoothed out soon.
Shelby
Harley,
Are they still making Frac'ing noise over in Sec 17? I have not been able to get any updates on Sonris site on well progress.
Shelby
Shelby, I don't believe they have fraced this well yet. I may be wrong but have not seen the traffic on my end for it. I have been on call alot from work so may have missed it. I will keep my eyes opened for any activity and let you lnow.
We appreciate it Harley; take care over there.
Shelby
Thanks for the updates, Harley...Kay
Thanks, H.
