The well is waiting on a frac crew.  It is normal for a well to sit idle between the rig leaving and the frac operation beginning.  30 days is nothing.  It can take a couple of months.

Thanks!  The well has been waiting on a frac crew sinse October 2010.  I know the pipeline has been put in the ground.

Yeah, that's a little long to be waiting on a frac crew.  I notice that there are a number of status code 01 CHK wells in your vicinity.  The closest one reported as complete was on 8-10-11.  Are you still in the primary term of your lease?

Yes...we were leased prior to the Shale. CHK drilled 5 wells in the area about the same time and all have a status code 01.

Thanks Skip...I am aware I am HBP.  I just didn't know if it was customery for CHK to wait.  I assume they are waiting for gas prices to go up.  That would be to my benefit.

CHK has recently slowed their permitting of unit wells and joined the move to full development with alternate unit wells.  This may have some impact on their development plans in your area particularly if there is insufficient existing pipeline capacity to support that level of flush production.  Your location is good and you should do just fine in the future.  If your well was mine I wouldn't mind waiting until next year for it to be turned to sales.  Good Luck to Ya.
